Valley Forge Casino Resort in Pennsylvania is getting a sportsbook. The service began working on March 13th thanks to the partnership this casino with FanDuel. The facility is forth such in the US state and the first one made through the FanDuel partnership. Boyd Gaming is the owner of the Valley Forge Casino Resort. The facility is set in the Upper Merion Township. This spot is near to the King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The casino operator got its green light and the license for the physical sportsbook in late 2018.
This company started its entrance into physical sportsbook business in 2018. This took place after the landmark US Supreme Court ruling on allowing the states to legalize sports gambling. FanDuel began its moves in New Jersey and started its expansion into different markets as well. Right now, the company is happy with the process of growing it is foothold in the US.
Matt King, who is the CEO of the company, said that owning a sportsbook at Valley Forge Casino Resort is just the beginning of the Boyd Gaming partnership. From there, both companies would look for potential further expansions. It seems that the Fan Duel experience of the fantasy sports market translated well to regular sports betting. Additionally, it was able to successfully traverse the domain of the US markets. This will also allow it to set up viable businesses in a short time frame.
Valley Forge Expansion
